Welcome to Shenanigans Press. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Shenanigans Press website at https://www.shenaniganspress.com (the "Site"), our email newsletter, and our automated comment response tool on social media. By using the Site or interacting with us, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who we are
Shenanigans Press is an independent publishing imprint operated by Catherine Bilson, based in Queensland, Australia.

2. Use of the Site
The Site is provided for informational purposes — to share information about our books, authors, and related content. You may browse the Site freely. You agree not to misuse the Site, including by attempting to gain unauthorised access, scraping content at scale, or interfering with its operation.
3. Newsletter subscription
If you subscribe to our newsletter, you consent to receive periodic emails from us. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email. We process your subscription data as described in our Privacy Policy.
4. Automated comment responses on social media
We operate an automated tool that monitors public comments on our own Facebook Pages and Instagram accounts. When a public comment on one of our posts contains a pre-configured keyword, the tool posts a public reply comment containing a link to one of our books. This tool processes only public comments on our own posts and stores no personal data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
There are no user accounts or sign-ups associated with this tool. Members of the public interact with it only by leaving comments on our public posts, in the same way they would interact with any other public Facebook or Instagram account.
5. Affiliate disclosure
Book links on the Site, in our newsletter, and in social media replies posted by our automated comment response tool may contain affiliate codes. When you click such a link and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you.
6. Intellectual property
All content on the Site — including book covers, descriptions, author information, and original text — is the property of Shenanigans Press or its licensors and is protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use this content commercially without our prior written permission.
7. No warranty
The Site and any tools we operate are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, freedom from errors, or that any specific outcome will result from your use.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shenanigans Press shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site or our tools.
9. Third-party services
The Site and our tools rely on third-party services, including Wix Studio (website hosting), MailerLite (newsletter delivery), Cloudflare (automation infrastructure), and Meta's Graph API (Facebook and Instagram). Your use of those underlying services is governed by their own terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Queensland and the Commonwealth of Australia. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland, Australia.
